      <title>Former Afghan PM Gulbuddin Hekmatyar arrives in Islamabad for peace talks

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The two-time prime minister of Afghanistan and leader of Hezb-e-Islami of Afghanistan Gulbuddin Hekmatyar has arrived in Islamabad today for a three-day visit focusing on Pakistan’s role in the Afghan peace process.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hekmatyar will meet Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other Pakistani officials and exchange views on the Afghan peace process, shared ministry of information. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;"Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, leader of Hezb-e-Islami of Afghanistan, along with a delegation will arrive here on Monday and would exchange views with the leadership of Pakistan on the Afghan peace process and strengthening of Pakistan-Afghanistan bilateral relations."&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The visit comes nearly three weeks after a recent visit by Dr. Abdullah Abdullah — Afghanistan’s top envoy for the ongoing peace negotiations between the Kabul government and the Taliban.&lt;/p&gt;
