Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri telephoned Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammad Saleh today to discuss security arrangements for pilgrims. The Saudi Minister said a comprehensive policy has been chalked out to tackle the outbreak of Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia.

He said the recent measurements and steps were aimed to protect lives and health of Umra pilgrims.

The Saudi Minister said a part of Tawaf area was seized temporarily as preventive measure to control the rush.

He said tawaf, prayer and worship are continuing in other parts of the Haram.
