RAWALPINDI: A prime suspect of an international child porn ring that played live videos of child pornography was arrested from Rawat on Tuesday over charges of child sexual abuses and pornography.

According to police, the suspect has confessed to physically abusing 30 children in Pakistan, and uploading their videos on the ‘Dark Web’.

Prime suspect Sohail Ayaz had served jail in the United Kingdom after being convicted in the same crime.

The police have arrested him following a complaint filed by a 13-year-old child Hamza’s mother. Ayaz had physically abused Hamza and captured his videos.

Later, the UK government had deported him. Ayaz had also faced trials in child abuse cases in courts of Italy. The suspect had been using Dark Web to show live videos of child pornography.—INP
