Web Desk: Boxer Amir Khan and his wife Fariyal Maghdoom have received death threats for posting photo of a Christmas tree on Social Media.

After putting up a photo, they were targeted by a troll who threatened to kill them and their three year old daughter. Troll targeted him for disrespecting his religion.

Amir shared a image this morning, in which he popped the tree up for daughter Lamaisha.

He captioned the picture, “While everyone’s asleep, daddy put the Christmas tree up. Lamisha’s going to be happy. Christmas #MerryChristmas2017.”

A social media user commented, “I promise to god I want to kill you and your family amir.”
