Web Desk: Pakistani actress Meera is fighting seven-year-long court case to prove herself single/ not married.

Meera lawyer Balakh Sher Khosa stated that the case against Meera had been dismissed by the court as it was baseless.

She appeared in the court to face the claims made by a businessman Ateeq-ur-Rehman in 2009 that he tied knots with Meera in a private ceremony, two years before the case filed. He further said that, Meera did not want to accept him as a husband in public.

He filed many petition against her and even showed marriage certificate as a proof. He also argued that she can not marry anyone else. Stating that he should have the possession of the house where she is living.

Meera on the other hand has rejected all his claims and filed a counter suit in 2010 and even challenged the marriage certificate.
