Web Desk: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie Padmavati indulged the leading character of movie Deepika Padukone in danger that she has been given a special protection by Mumbai Police.

Rajput leaders have threatened to cut off Deepika Padukone’s nose to pressurize the director to not to release the film.

Leader of Karni Sena stated, ““Rajputs never raise a hand on women but if need be, we will do to Deepika what Lakshman did to Shurpanakha,”

During the interview with an news agency, Deepika stated, “It's appalling, it's absolutely appalling. What have we gotten ourselves into? And where have we reached as a nation? We have regressed,"

"The only people we are answerable to is the censor board, and I know and I believe that nothing can stop the release of this film," she continued.

Padmavati is scheduled to be released in India on 1^st December.
