SARGODHA,:The police on Friday arrested eight persons and recovered four-kilogram hashish and 30 bottles of liquor from them.

A spokesman said that a police parties of Satellite Town, Jhal Chakian, Atta Sheed and Jhawarian police stations conducted raids and arrested the accused.

Narcotics were recovered from five women including Ishrat Bibi, Umme Kalsoom, Razia Bibi, Riffat Khan, Gulshan Bibi, and 20 bottles of liquor from Kashif, 10 bottles from Khalid while a 30-bore pistol was recovered from Abid.

Police have registered separate cases.-APP
