WEB DESK: Here is a good news for all the WhatsApp users that it has introduced first ever set of emojis. These emojis are available on beta version 2.2.17.363 for Android. And, to your surprise, they look quite similar to Apple's iPhone ones. 

According to emojipedia, this new set of emojis is currently available for WhatApp's beta program and resembles iPhone's ones.

Emojipedia further states,"There is precedent for WhatsApp designing its own emojis. WhatsApp was first to implement the middle finger emoji when no vendor had Unicode 7 support, and briefly added an emoji for the Olympic Rings."

Moreover, WhatsApp is still a step forward from iOS native emoji support with this beta program. Also, this emoji is included up to Emoji 5.0, version which is latest and approved by Unicode. Earlier, WhatsApp had incorporated Apple's new emojis set just after they hit iOS.

It is note worthy here that WhatsApp might make changes in the set before its release for public.
