WEB DESK: The B-town is full of all sorts of entertainment and drama. Celebrities rant over under-discussed issues or in most cases highlights what is hidden in this glamorous film/fashion world. Â

We have witnessed different issues faced by famed actors which they also talked about openly. The list might be long but Kangana Ranaut, speaking fiercely on nepotism in Bollywood and Nawaz Uddin's confession of being a victim of racism are the most recent ones.

Recently, Anushka Sharma opened Pandora's box about something, that is too unreal to be presented in a film industry and in current modern time.

The Aye Dil Hai Mushkil star, who is self-made spoke about gender divide or discrimination that is being practiced in the Bollywood but no one has ever shed light on it.

In an interview she said,"Films led by female actors do not open to remarkable numbers. A lot of us are trying to change that with the kind of work we do. Who said that the industry was fair? Talking of the gender divide won’t make it go away. Male actors are better valued than us in Hindi cinema. As an actor, what I can do is choose roles that send out a message of empowerment, both as actor and the character. As producer, I am trying to foster a new value system that makes content king in the long run."

It is indeed unfair to value male actors more than female ones regardless of where it is happening. Gender quality must be atop on priority list as these films - can't get such massive success without team work and - efforts put in by everyone linked to it which obviously includes ladies of the industry.
