LAHORE: The famous Pakistani actress Veena Malik and her husband Asad Khattak are going through tough phase of their lives as Veena has filed 'Khula'. However, the reports claimed that issues have been resolved between the couple.

According to reports, Asad has apologized for his behavior, during an interview to a local news channel, the actress, however, accepted his apologies.

Sources further claimed that well known religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil also took part in resolving the issues between these two.

Whereas, the actress shared a tweet saying, I am thankful that people want to get them together but I want to discuss it Dr. Amir Liaqat, nothing is finalized yet and she "would appreciate understanding and respect for this institution".

Previously, Asad Khattak shared a tweet recently, hoping that things will be resolved soon.

Earlier, the actress's lawyer, Ali Ahmed has confirmed the news of separation between two after she filed for khula, adding, the family court has allowed the act on 31st January, 2017.

The court, however, command in favor of Veena because Asad Khattak was remain unsuccessful with case proceedings, lawyer said reportedly and did not provide any more details in this regard.

The couple tied knot back on 25th December 2013 in Dubai. It is noteworthy here that they have two children together.
