CHAGHI: At least seven people were killed and more than 13 got injured on Saturday when a speeding bus collided with a trawler, Aaj News reported. 

According to the reports, the bus was enroute to Taftan from Quetta at the N-40 National Highway when the accident took place. After the accident the bus caught fire, which was later doused by rescue services.

Rescue teams reached the site and started operation. The injured were taken to Naukandi hopsital where they were given first aid before being transferred to a Quetta hospital.

An initial investigation into the incident began by levies forces.
