WEB DESK: Recently, Pakistan Achievement Awards were held in London hosted by Shaista Lodhi on December 2nd. Canadian-born Pakistani actress Armeena Khan won Women Empowerment Award ceremony. The event is organized in order to appreciate the efforts of Pakistani individuals.

Ahsan Khan was declared the most popular actor for his noted role in Udaari on the occasion. Other celebrities including Sana and Javed Sheikh were also present at the event.

Armeena made her debut with Bollywood film Huff! It’s Too Much in 2013 before going on to star in British film Writhe. She became the first Pakistani actor to walk the Cannes red carpet when the film was screen at the festival in 2013.

Armeena took to Twitter to share her happiness and posted a video captioned,”Won the Women’s Empowerment Award at this years Pakistan Achievement Awards U.K.”
