WEB DESK: In the late development on Sunday night, actor Kashif Mehmood was arrested from his home fro supporting Imran Khan and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. 

The actor was said to be arrested from his home, where Police breached his house using a ladder, and broke into his house, arresting the actor with them.

Punjab Police has been rounding up various supporters of PTI as the rally of 2 November nears.

Fello actor and PTI activist, Hmaza Ali Abbasi took it  to his Facebook account to call out the incident.

He wrote,

Few hours after his arrest, the actor was released. While talking to local television channel, Mehmood  said he was confused as to what his crime was to get arrested. He also said that if supporting Khan was a mistake and a crime, then he will gladly do so again.
