WEB DESK: Post the famous fashion show where Deepika Padukone and Fawad Khan  posed as showstoppers for Manish Malothra, reports were circling that Fawad has been finalised as Deepika's husband in an upcoming Snjay Leela Bhansali movie, Padmavati. 

Previously it was reported that, "Bhansali wants 200 days from all his lead actors, including Ranveer Singh (plays Alauddin Khilji) and Deepika (Padmavati). Fawad has those days to spare. In between, he has Karan Johar’s production, but it should not be a problem as KJo and Bhansali share a good equation. So they will work it out. It’s too big an offer for Fawad to pass up."

Recently, it was reported that  source exclusively told Bollywoodlife,  “Fawad is extremely busy with other projects in Pakistan.  Also he has signed a three film deal with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. So obviously the actor cannot break this and work with any other director. So there is no chance of him signing Bhansali’s Padmavati.”

Now that Fawad is not playing the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh,  we wonder who will Bhansali sign as Deepika’s husband.
