Indian officials have found a man who is apparently 179 years old, his name is Mahasta Murasi. Mahasta Murasi was born on January the 6^th, in Bangalore in the year 1835. This and his age are both confirmed by his birth certificate and identity cards.

He lived in Varanasi 1903 as a cobbler in the city and then retired at the age of 122 in 1957.

“Even my grandchildren have been dead for years, yet I still live on”, Mr.Murasi explained “According to the statistics nobody dies beyond 150 years, even less at 170. I think death has forgotten me and I might be immortal.”

Mr. Murasi might just be the next Master Yoda (Star Wars) Or Oogway (from kung fu panda) for all we know, unfortunately the doctor which he showed last time was back in 1971 and isn’t alive anymore. Hence no medical examination can confirm since there are no medical files of his, they can't further confirm this.
