&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;ISLAMABAD: Inspector General, National Highways and Motorway Police, Zulfiqar Ahamd Cheema Monday said that a subject comprising traffic rules and road safety concepts would be included in the curriculum of primary and matriculation levels as a compulsory subject.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a statement issued here, he informed that the request to include subject related to road safety and traffic rules in the curriculum had been already accepted by all provincial governments.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Zulfiqar Cheema said that children and youth awareness programme about traffic laws and concepts of road safety would be beneficial and would have positive and long-lasting effects.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The subject of road safety is incorporated in school curriculum of all developed countries, he added.&lt;/p&gt;
