PESHAWAR: Khyber IDPs Welfare Committee, Bara, Khyber Agency Wednesday demanded of both provincial and federal governments for provision of basic amenities to the displaced people from the area.

Addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club, President of Khyber IDPs Welfare Committee, Haji Daud Khan Afridi while flanked by Malik Haji Hukam Khan Afridi, Malik Sultan Muhammad Afridi, Malakhel Afridi and others tribal elders said that the IDPs have sacrificed their lives for the sake of country and restoration of peace, but, today they were spending miserable life in Jalozai camp.

Haji Daud Khan Afridi told that 25000 IDPs had left their houses and native land but living under the open sky in Jalozai camp adding that thousands of families were still awaiting registration.

He demanded of both provincial and federal governments to register all the families and beside health and education facilities should also announce a special relief package for them.
