HYDERABAD:  The officers of  Central Prison Hyderabad and District Jail Nara, Hyderabad with the support of  Rangers and the District Police have prepared a foolproof strategy to combat any untoward situation in the prisons.

According to prison sources, after reports of digging of a tunnel in Central Prison Karachi by the inmates, the officers of both the prisons of Hyderabad along with Rangers and District Police conducted a thorough search of the jail premises including the colony and the quarters of the employees.

Besides, the movement of the prisoners is also being monitored with collection of information about the residents of the houses situated around the jails, the sources informed.
