KARACHI: Staffers of Dr. Mehmood Hussain Library, Karachi University alongwith faculty members and students of KU's Library Science Department held a condolence meeting for their assassinated colleague Abdul Qadir Baloch on Friday.

The meeting chaired by Prof. Malahat Kalim Sherwani, head of library science department, KU and also attended by its Registrar, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan registered its strong protest against killing of an unassuming individual and a hardworking colleague.

Urging the authorities to ensure immediate arrest of the killer of Abdul Qadir, the participants prayed to almighty Allah to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and solace to his bereaved family.
