Animal tests indicated that the toxin used in Botox disrupts nerve activities which play significant role in helping fuel cancer growth, Press Tv reported.

A team of international scientists of Columbia University Medical Centre,in New York, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim investigated the association of nerve functions and cancer growth.

They could unveil a link between cutting the nerve or using the toxin Botox and tumors in the digestive system, in particular stomach cancer, according to the study report published in Science Translational Medicine.
