He pointed out that efforts were being made to finish this project before the stipulated time that is June 2014.

He said this while addressing a meeting which was attended by the Director General Technical Services Niaz Ahmed Soomro and other officers, said a statement on Wednesday.
Problems faced by traffic around the construction site of flyovers in Malir should also be addressed, the Administrator said.

Various ongoing development projects in the city were reviewed in detail during the meeting while the progress report was also presented.

The Administrator directed officers to complete the remaining works of Teen Hatti Flyover as soon as possible so that with its completion, making of Shara-e-Pakistan a signal free corridor could complete too.

He also directed officers to refrain from any negligence or carelessness as completion of this project would provide considerable convenience to traffic using Shara-e-Pakistan.

The Administrator also directed that special attention be paid to ensure smooth traffic flow around the construction sites particularly around the sites of Malir 15 and Malir Halt Flyovers.
