In his message of greetings to the Indian Prime Minister, he said, “On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, it gives me immense pleasure to convey to you, the government and people of India, warm greetings on the occasion of Republic Day of India.”

The Prime Minister said Pakistan was committed to forging friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, as it was in mutual interest and essential for the progress and prosperity of the people in the region. “We wish you good health and happiness and to the people of India continued progress and prosperity,” the Prime Minister added.
