      <title>6.1 magnitude earthquake tremors felt in Islamabad, KPK and other Punjab areas</title>

&lt;p&gt;ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors were felt within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad and other cities of Punjab on Thursday. According to sources, the intensity of the earthquake on the Richter scale was 6.1.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The earthquake tremors were also felt in Peshawar, Swat, Malk Waal, Gilgit, Hunza, Lahore and other areas of Punjab as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The epicenter of the earthquake has been reported to be the HinduKush mountains. Tremors were also felt in the Afghanistan province of Badakshan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The earthquake which was reported to have originated from the HinduKush region in Afghanistan led to jolts being felt in different areas of Afghanistan, Jammu &amp;amp; Kashmir, Northern India and Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The tremors which continued for almost 5 seconds occurred at around 7pm. Fortunately, no casualties or any damage to properties have been reported following the quake.&lt;/p&gt;
