They are opposing the relaxation of a law governing contempt of court and decided to boycott court proceedings on Thursday (today).

On, Wednesday lawyers also pledged to oppose the proposed bill that will allow members of parliament to have dual citizenship.

Parliament is expected to to approve the dual citizenship bill after the Supreme Court disqualified about a dozen MPs for having dual nationalities.

Likewise, Senate has approved the contempt of Court Bill 2012 despite the opposition had walked-out from the Senate session to show their dissent over the issue. The Bill has already been passed by the National Assembly.
