According to the Times of India website, Adnan Sami a Pakistan based singer, failed to turn up at a concert in Indore in 2001, which was followed by a complaint, lodged against him by celeb-manager Shilpa Nayak and Harshad Maule.

An arrest warrant was issued in his name in 2005 but due to various technical mistakes the police was not able to implement the warrant demanding Sami's arrest.

In 2009, a permanent warrant was issued against Adnan Sami but the warrant reached the intended police station seven months later, on June 13.

According to the law, Adnan will have to appear in Indore court to get bail for himself.

When tried to be contacted, Adnan Sami's secretary informed that Adnan is in London at present.
