ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar stated on Wednesday that no secret agreement has been made with NATO or the US over the resumption of NATO supplies.

The Foreign Minister gave this statement while addressing a press conference along with Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira on Wednesday. The press conference was conducted following the conclusion of Cabinet's Defence Committe meeting earlier on Wednesday.

"The government hung on with its principled stance and to get it agreed, the government closed the NATO supply for almost 8 months," stated Kaira. The Information Minister further added that the government has not deviated from the Parliament's resolutions while agreeing to the restoration of NATO supplies.

Kaira also said that the decision to close and re-open the NATO supplies was mutually taken by the Political and the Military leadership of the country.
