The supreme court has suspended Mutahida Qaumi Movement's Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Nadia Gabol's membership from the assembly today on Wednesday, Aaj News reported.

The Dual Nationality case hearing was underway today in the Supreme Court, where the bench suspended Member National Assembly Farhat Mehmood of MQM and MPA Nadia Gabol also from MQM.

A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, was hearing case regarding assembly members possessing dual nationalities.

Earlier, the Supreme Court suspended membership of PML-N’s Malik Jamil Awan from National Assembly for holding dual nationality on Tuesday.
