Along with PPP's Makhdoom Shahbuddin and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, now Federal Minister Kama Zaman Kaira has also been nominated for the Prime Minister's office by the Pakistan People's Party, Aaj News reported. Kamar Zaman Kaira will file his nomination papers today.

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami has also nominated their chief Fazl Ur Rehman, as a prospect candidate for PM's office. He filed the nomination papers earlier today.

Mehtab Abbasi has been  nominated by the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) as a candidate for new Prime Minister.

The number of contestants for Prime Minister's chair has reached five after Kamar Zaman Kaira and Fazl-ur-Rehman's filing of nomination papers.
