Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed of LHC was hearing the petition filed by advocate Rana Ilm Din. The petitioner requested that former president should be tried under article 6 of the consititution.

In the petition, it is maintained that Pervez Musharraf has abrogated the constitution twice but the government failed to take appropriate action against him

During the hearing, Deputy Attorney General requested the court to grant more time to the government in this regard upon which Justice Azmat, expressing his annoyance, directed the government to file a detailed reply in 10 days.
