He was 82.</p> <p>The funeral prayers of Naseerullah Babar will be offered today in Nowshera.</p> <p>On 19 August 2008, Naseerullah Babar suffered a mild stroke and was admitted to a hospital. He recovered and returned home in November 2008.</p> <p>Major General (retd) Naseerullah Babar was born in 1928 in Ismaeil Khel near Akora Khattak Nowshera, Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa.</p> <p>Babar was a senior central leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
