      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;IMG SRC="http://www.aaj.tv/gallery/167288_news_image.jpg" class="bd1 bdstand align-left" alt="LHC seeks report regarding suspension of six passenger trains " &gt;The Lahore High Court Chief Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif Wednesday directed railway authorities to submit a reply till August 5 (Thursday) on a petition challenging the decision of closing six trains.&lt;br /&gt;
The court issued the directions on a petition filed by Vice President Railway Workers Union Rana Shaukat Ali in which he submitted that Railway had decided to close six trains including Mehran Express, Sialkot Express, Sakhi Abbas Passenger, Taiz Rao, Chiltan Express and Shalimar Express against the interests of passengers.&lt;br /&gt;
He submitted that it was duty of Pakistan Railway to provide travel facilities to masses but the department  was depriving people by closing these trians.&lt;br /&gt;
He submitted that as a result of this decision many employees would also become jobless. He prayed the court to set aside the decision.&lt;br /&gt;
Earlier, the court directed Chairman and General Manager, Pakistan Railway to submit a reply in the matter till August 4.&lt;br /&gt;
However, counsel for the railways today  appeared before the court and sought time.&lt;br /&gt;
