Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Senator Dr Babar Awan on Saturday said there is no danger to democracy in the country as the "nation is awake".
He was talking to media persons on arrival at the Karachi Airport. Spokesman of Bilawal House Aijaz Durrani and Akram Baloch were also present on the occasion.
He said, "Let me say it clearly that there is no danger to the democracy as the nation is awake." This is so because the Parliament is united, he added.
Babar Awan said that all the institutions would Inshallah work within their parameters and limits, which would help the government to resolve the problems of people.
He said, we have tried to convince our 'friends of Takhat-i-Lahore' that the democracy is inclusive and not exclusive and that in this all the political forces and the people have to be taken along."
Babar Awan said that when they (PML-N) had organised a rally he (Babar) had commented that today the decline of the politics of Nawaz Sharif Saheb had begun. Even 90 days have not passed since then that those who even suffered jail for nine years and stood by him, have left Mian Nawaz Sharif's party, he added.
He said that one surprise had come to the fore today and more surprises would be mostly from the "GT Road party".
